eMusic Names Lee Nadler As Chief Marketing Officer



NEW YORK, Jan. 21, 2010 – eMusic, the digital music club, today announced that it has named Lee Nadler as Chief Marketing Officer. Recognized by the American Advertising Federation Hall of Achievement and Advertising Age, Nadler is a leading marketing executive. His 20-year career includes digital marketing, branding, ecommerce, web development and direct marketing, with a focus on creating quality customer experiences.

Reporting to eMusic CEO Danny Stein, Nadler will be responsible for adding and retaining club members and overseeing eMusic’s worldwide marketing and business development operations.

“Lee’s branding experience is formidable and his background in digital marketing and ecommerce make him an excellent fit for eMusic,” said Danny Stein, eMusic President and CEO. “As we expand our catalogue and our audience, Lee will help us refine the eMusic experience to existing and new members while building the value of the eMusic club with programs and partners.”

Prior to eMusic, Nadler was Founder and CEO of Sherpa Marketing Inc., a marketing consulting firm, where he worked closely with well-known brands such as BMW North America, Yahoo! and CNNMoney.com. During this time, he served as Chief Marketing and Interactive Officer for RIDEMAKERZ, an experience where kids can build a custom radio control car. His previous experience also includes tenure as President and CEO of Digital Pulp, a cutting-edge agency and web development firm. In 1996 he was part of the original team that formed DoubleClick, and prior to that Nadler helped Kirshenbaum & Bond organize its integrated marketing group.
